I suppose I got used to it because my hands don’t bother me anymore.

My butt, on the other hand is not yet up to the 1000 mile task.

Route planning right now… I’ll likely do a one-day loop through 6 states as follows:

St Louis to Memphis (MO, AR, TN; I-55; 284 mi)
Memphis to Nashville (TN; I-40; 212 mi)
Nashville to Indianapolis (TN, KY, IN; I-65; 288 mi)
Indianapolis to St Louis (IN, IL, MO; I-70; 242 mi)

Should take around 16 hours all told.

2004 Ducati M1000Sie; a hooligan of a bike. Always wanted one, and always had lesser bikes (that I was constantly working-on). At the end of April, I finally did it – the deal was too good to pass on. The insurance cost is just damn insane, but the fun is worth that bite in the wallet.

I adopted her last weekend after much deliberation from the local APA. She’s 4 years old, spayed, declawed and FAT – a whopping 16lb! I suppose being so big, she was never neglected – at least not for food! My daughter and girlfriend are both completely stoked; I too am suprisingly happy about this new addition to our home. I’d never have a cat declawed, but I have no problem adoping one that’s already had the procedure performed, especially since she’s an indoor-only city cat. I need to take some pics or something. Oh – she’d a domestic shorthair calico – grey & orange. An unusual but attractive combination.
