Sooo its Thursday morning, and The Ex arrives this evening :S
As of this moment I am 8stone 12lbs, which astonished even myself to be honest. Thats a total loss of 44lbs! When he sees me I want the first thing I want to do it pick his jaw up off the floor.
Were going for a friendly drink and I have THE most stunning, sleek LBD that (fingers crossed) is going to make him melt.
Dont get me wrong, I dont want him back or anything. But a small (ok large) part of me wants to show off and let him see how well im doing, in everything and not just the weight loss (which he has no real idea about)

Ohmygod!!
You know I said id be seeing the ex in a few weeks time and had to be looking tip-top. Well, circumstances have changed. Im now seeing him…
...on THURSDAY! THIS THURSDAY! Total last-minute, unavoidable circumstances.
Im meeting him for a drink (dont get me wrong, i do want to meet him lol) but I need to be looking absolutely, 100%, completely amazing! LOTS of preperation needed. If this isnt motivation for going to the gym between now and then I dont know what is! I know it wont make much difference but at least ill feel like ive done all I can to look like a glowing, healthy temptress :D
I might wear my gorgeous favourite little black dress – chic, simple, elegant, gorgeous. He’s never seen me with my legs out, or indeed wearing a dress, so I think now is the time. If his jaw doesnt hit the floor then im a dutchman, so fingers crossed. I was about a stone heavier since the last time he saw a glimpse of me, and before that I was over 3 stone heavier than I am now (now being a little under 9 stone).

I was looking up diet motivational stuff and came across a thread on uncommon reasons for wanting to lose weight. Yes we all want to look fabulous in tight jeans or be able to run for 5 minutes without wanting to collapse. But Im sure theres loads of little reasons motivating everyone to slim down.
So I had a think, and here’s mine:
1) So I can go to the corner shop/supermarket and buy something calorie-laden without people peering at me thinking, “She could do with cutting down on those, shes just a fat girl getting fatter”. Now I can buy a bag of crisps when im treating myself and not feel like im being judged.
2) My ex – When we split up but stayed in touch, he didnt so much take away my confidence/self-respect, but rather he demolished it. Imagine taking a sledgehammer to a Pringle. Complete obliteration. But now its back, and im keeping on the right track because everytime I finish a workout or turn down a second helping of dessert, its putting a little bit of my confidence back and sticking two fingers up at him (Im seeing him in a few weeks – gotta look fab so he melts)
3) All those people who thought id stay overweight forever/had horrendous eating habits/had a stomach like a bottomless pit/never looked good enough in fashionable clothes: To prove to them they underestimated me. So now im a comfortable size 10 I show them all that Im better than they thought. The look of surprise on some peoples faces when they havnt seen me for a while is worth it :D
Theres my 3 reasons, hope you all share yours! Itd be very interesting and maybe give somebody else a boost!
