I figured out what I was doing wrong and it helped to watch the “knitting with kids” episode of Knitty Gritty on DIY.
I learned how to knit some basic things and am currently working on a scarf.
For those of you still struggling, my friend suggested thicker needles and thicker yarn. It is easier to see your knitting and you can finish a project quicker.
Bought flowers for my mother as a birthday present last night and I’m excited because it is the perfect gift for someone so dear but far away.
Finished this last Saturday. Took all afternoon to sort and organize. Next week, the desk!
It was overwhelming at first but I’ve weeded out the ones my sons don’t need and will tackle the large toy box in our downstairs room by the end of this week. This is great because I’m also kind of getting my other resolution of donating our excess out of the way.
