I quit my exercise everyday goal because I don’t want to feel guilty for not having exercised this weekend. I’m off to the gym now! =)

How I did it: I had a deadline. Up until now, I was applying to become a substitute teacher in hopes of eventually becoming a real teacher. However, I was able to get another job which didn't require me going back to school. YAY! So, I received some help with my resume. When I got the job, it forced me to fill out all these forms. I worked out 5 days in a row at the gym! I joined in May, but I have not really used it. This week I worked with a trainer 3 times (part of a package deal), and even though it’s totally amazing to work with a trainer, it’s too expensive to do all the time. I’m so sore and probably overdid it today. I have the worst headache. I’m probably dehydrated, and it’s taking a while to get back to normal. Anyway, in September I start working out with a group of people 3 times a week. It’s 2 strength training sessions and one cardio per week. It’s a twelve week program. I’ll fill in the gaps with the treadmill or neighborhood walk/jog.

I signed my daughter up for Girls on the Run again. We completed a 5K in May, but this fall we both hope to run more than walk. She asked me if I will be able to keep up with her, and I told her I’m working on it! =)
