How to weave a basket

primitive.

How I did it: This took a long time to finish, mainly due to a bad drought and one of my willows dying. Overall, this didn't take too much of my time, I just worked on it very sporadically. The basked it mostly all weeping willow, with a little daffodil green thrown in around the middle, and it is topped with some yucca, with a woven yucca handle. How to read every book in a series that has more than 10 books in it

How I did it: This isn't so hard if the books are good. It's even easier if it is a children's series, like a Series of Unfortunate Events. All the books could be read in a day. I admit, I got a little bored with it for books 5&6, and stopped reading them for a year, but when I picked back up with 7, I found the author had dropped a lot of the annoyingly repeated parts, and got back to silly fun. How to replace the carpet upstairs

How I did it: We got a good deal on engineered bamboo on craigslist about a month ago. last weekend we started with pulling up the carpet, pad, and tack strips. and removing all the trim. then we started laying the floor. this weekend we finished everything except the last course, which we did last night. this year was wonderful. I think we are taking all 3 weeks next year and doing something in the thailand, laos, cambodia, vietnam area. hopefully we can squeeze in a few short trips to new places too. planning on visiting a friend in New Orleans the weekend before mardi gras too.
