How I did it: Andrew is one of the most accessible musicians I've ever met. Despite my work in the industry, I have never met him in the context of work, but always at shows. He has so much drive and ambition to meet his fans and to play music. His philosophy and the way he observes life are unique and refreshing. We need more people like Andrew McMahon on this earth. Read how I did it…
I met Andrew at the NYC Jack’s Mannequin show. He signed autographs for my friend and I, gave me a huge hug and smile, chatted with the meet and greet group, and let us take pictures with him. He is so open and friendly, I really enjoyed being able to spend 10 minutes or so with him. For anybody who wants to meet Andrew, don’t stop trying! I wasn’t even supposed to be allowed at this meet and greet, but because I worked hard for JM, I was invited.
Good luck!
I met Taylor, Isaac and Zac at a screening of their documentary. My roommate even tried to get Taylor to fess up to which political party he belonged to (he wouldn’t!).
