So, I am in my 2nd to last class and then…..dun, dun, DUNNNNNNN!!!! I finally will have completed and obtained my BA!! Hell-YEAH! I am so excited – it’s been a LOT of sacrifice and work but well worth it and SO awesome that I have been able to take advantage of my work’s (ex-work’s) tuition reimbursement program and hopefully my new work’s program as well even if it is 50% reimbursement! Something is better than nothing!

I can’t tell you how excited I am to be so close and to have an awesome GPA as well…...so far, all A’s! I won’t have anything less and it has been some late and sleepless and stressful nights and days but again, well worth it!! I will update as soon as I graduate! :o)

So I FINALLY went up to Timberline and paid for the package of three lessons which includes equipment rental. I went up with a friend that also wanted to learn to snowboard and we just had lesson #2 the other day (3-9-09) and it ROCKED!!

Lesson #1 was hard! It was scary and the snow was packed so it was VERY slippery and freaky. I knew that falling on that packed snow would hurt too which made me even more scared. Lesson #2 was the bomb!! It was super blizzardy and the snow was snowy, powdery soft! I wasn’t afraid to fall because I knew it would be soft which I think helped my confidence and I kicked butt! I hope it’s this easy for lesson #3! :o)

I really love snowboarding – it is so much fun and I can’t wait for lesson #3. We also have a really great instructor, Andy, who has been awesome and patient. He is a really good instructor and a bit goofy which I like about him.

So, I am FINALLY enrolled – I figured out that finishing my degree online is the best option for me in SO many ways! My first class starts August 26th and I am SO excited to finally complete the hard work I started so long ago. This is one of those things that you can keep putting off and keep putting off – next thing you know 5 years have passed and you’ve put it off for 5 years!!! More to come but the biggest step has been taken…...
