I’ve always been a passive person, and just did whatever I needed to make the other person happy. Often this resulted in my own unhappiness in the process.
I’ve realized that love is a two way street. You give AND you get. You can’t sacrifice your entire happiness just in order to appease the other person.
If they really do love you, I think they will appreciate your sacrifices and will also return the favor.
It is human nature to want to be loved, to love someone. Just don’t go making yourself so unhappy in the process.

Saw them in February when they stopped here in Michigan.
Was such an excellent show. Chris Martin is so energetic, running around the stage. He also at one point too off and ran to the back of the Palace. The crowd went nuts.
Personally it was the best concert I’ve ever been too and I would go again in a heartbeat.
Thank you Coldplay!

Everyone worries, that’s a given. But its how much we let it affect our lives, health, relationships, etc that varies between us all.
I’m a big worrier much like my father. I dwell on the small things blowing them up to bigger things. I’ve realized though that I can’t control everything, and that I have to just let the chips fall where they may. The things that I can control are my attitudes to the outside world, and sticking to being just me.
I’ve realized I can’t control everything. As elementary as that sounds, you just have to let things unwind themselves. I’ve been wrong, and I know I will make future mistakes, but learn from them and move on. The time you spent on worrying about things can be used for something that makes you happy instead :)
