so last week we took all the scrap metal from our house building project to the metal recycler and got a whopping $15 for it all. Well, it will buy some groceries and it’s GONE! :)

I have a list

of all the stuff I am not taking to the new house. It’s pretty long. We have been using a lot of stuff here in the apartment just because it’s useful, but it will be clutter in the new house. Why bother even moving it! I am going to leave it here at the apartment and have a sale here because we’re in the city and we’ll get more traffic. And I won’t need to touch it to sell it.

We got the insulation last week. Hubby is working on the manifolds for the plumbing and the last of the in-the-wall type stuff and we will schedule the drywall for next week! It’s getting there! I am getting so excited. Then we get painting, cabinet installation, flooring, tiling, finish carpentry, door installation, etc. Still lots to do…
