The dining room is about 55% done thanks to a lot of hard work these past few days. If hubby and I work together, this can be done in no time!

How I did it: Just asked for gift certificate to a spa for Christmas gift exchange, and put a little of my own money with it. Well worth it! It's a little out of my comfort zone, but I have no problem making this a yearly event! For one little hour, I didn't have a worry to speak of, I felt special/important, and I was able to let go and return to 'the real world' refreshed and more focused. I realize I'll always have laundry to do, but now I feel like I'm able to keep up. Read how I did it…

I just used my Bob’s Red Mill pancake mix, but I’m sure this would work well with any good pancake mix, and in addition to mixing it as directed, I added about 1/3 c (just eyeballed the measurement to my tastes) of pumpkin butter. Oh my goodness- easy and good. And they tasted great with real maple syrup. They’d be good with a little whipped cream, but also good with nothing added.

Today I did a workout. Cat series, and sun/moon.
