I’ve wanted a tattoo for almost 6 months now. My dad has massive hang ups about them and every time they come up in conversation I almost feel guilty for contemplating it.
I also really worry what it will look like when I am much older. It would be a stargazer lily symbolising ambition and on the back of my hip so easy to cover, but having children could and probably would alter it permanently – and then what would it look like?!
I keep telling myself I should do it for me, that I will get years of enjoyment out of it before I am old and have kids. I even got as far as booking the appointment once, but I chickened out because of these worries.

I have my tragus (right ear) pierced and I am toying with the idea of another piercing because now everyone I know has a tragus piercing. I was thinking of getting my rook (left ear) pierced.

I am a bit wary of the pain though, and I can’t remember how much my tragus hurt as it was so long ago!!!
