I need to focus on getting rid of, or dealing with, the stressors in my life - and finding non-food ways to celebrate good days - so that I won’t have the need to medicate with food. Also, I need to master the art of saying “good thanks” to offers of, and the availability of, the wrong foods. Also, I need to find an exercise I actually like. Perish the thought! :)

I’m going to ask my Bible study leader about having our next study be about how to witness. If she has something else in mind, I’m going to undertake the study on my own on the side. Plus, I’m praying that God puts people in my path who are responsive to the message, puts the words in my mouth to lead them to Christ, and fills me with the Holy Spirit so much that even my impulses are godly. After all, a “witness” from a poor example isn’t much of one!
I’ve put all our credit card balances on one 0% interest card, but I added other purchases almost up to its limit. But yesterday I put together a budget that, if we stick to it, will allow us to chip away at that balance, then eliminate student loans, then save up for a house, a replacement car and then Kate’s education.
