my nieces are the three most beautiful girls in the world, and i hope to (someday soon) be able to pay the ludicrous costs of private school so they don’t have to be victims of our horrible local public school system.

my first triathlon is coming up this Saturday, September 9 at 7:30am. It’s almost an Olympic distance triathlon, but since it’s in miles instead of kilometers, it’s not any ‘official’ distance. i have been training since the new year for this, and I feel ready, but I’m still pretty nervous. My goal is under 2 hours, which I think is very reasonable considering it’s my first attempt.
