I’ve been in for 12 years now. I got 3 different degrees (Psych, Soc (double major), and BS for Bio (entomology) for free, bought a house with a dollar down, traveled to about 16 different countries, and I retire in 7.5 years. I had fun and I feel it is definitly worth it. Check the jobs that the Army offers (I drove army boats for the past five years) and the benefits…you really can’t beat it.
