My friend wants to go at Christmas, but my family is Catholic and its hard to skip out on family stuff even if it is going to KENYA :’( hopefully something will work out. Plus does anyone know the average cost of plane tickets to go there?

I guess this means I have to have a house first, but that doesn’t mean I can’t design it ahead of time haha. There was a book on them which I used to check out frequently at the Baton Rouge library but unfortunately its hard to find it online since I’ve moved to NY. Definitely going to have to find a house with a big yard!
Starting with surgery so I guess first step is to honor. Already messed up Step I 217 :( sucks so much. I hate that you only have one shot. So far evaluations are ok from my attendings, and I REALLY LOVE THE OR. Move over bitch i gots to bovie this shit is my motto. Not really lol but seriously I love surgery. I want to go into trauma because its really great to save someone’s life. If I were in a car accident or shot etc I’d want to be in the best hands for someone to save my life, so that’s the goal-to be the best doctor I can be to give someone some extra time in their life to enjoy. One day surgeries are awesome too, its really rewarding to see the patient go home the next day with a smile on their face :). Plus you get to meet a lot of people on the job! If anyone has some tips for networking let me know-I hope to complete this goal in 7yrs!!
