Making progress. I have cut back considerably, but, not all entirely.
I am continuing on my automatic savings plan. In this economy, it’s the best thing to do. I started using PNC’s VirtualWallet and it has helped me to keep track of my money better. I am saving more and spending less.
It’s been a tough and long journey, but, I am just about done paying off my past debt and get my life and credit back.
A couple of weeks ago, I took a several boxes and bags to the Salvation Army. These were things that I had gathered to give to fire victims. Just so happened that, they had so many donations that they could not use my stuff. Go figure!
Well, it just so happens that the boyfriend of one of my colleagues is a tattoo artist. He’s really good and really creative. So, I am going to go with him.
They are on vacation, so, I looking at getting it within the next two months. Also, the place is within walking distance from my house.
I finally found my yoga mat. I have been looking for it. Now I can at least think about practicing again.
I am finally in the mode of reducing my debt and paying off my bills. I have started contacting my creditors to negotiate. So far, it’s working.
Still an issue with me. I can’t seem to get organized in the morning enough to get up in time to eat breakfast and get the kids to school. Also, I can think of anything that I want to eat for breakfast.
I am finally getting into the habit of looking at my goals, at least at work. I am still working on setting goals for myself personally. Getting a reminder to look at them regularly helps.
Last night I went threw several of my binders on my book shelf and cleared them out. Many of the papers in the binders were already on my computer. I scanned the ones that I wanted to keep. All of the paper—tossed in the recycling bin!
Now I just have to get rid of the binders.
It is so worth it. I have enjoyed spending time with my kids because they are getting older and they will be moving on soon. We have a great time together.
I am making some progress. Just before Christmas, I came into my office and filled about a box and a half of paper for recycling. I felt great to get some of that stuff out. I still have more to do.
I have everything pretty much under control. I am meeting with my doctor regularly and taking my meds as prescribed.
I am making more progress on this goal. I have finally convinced my husband to stop buying sodas.
Sounds lame, but, it’s a good place to start.
I am on the final chapters of The EasyWay to Quit Smoking. I am reading it for the second time. I hope it sticks this time.
I have started the process of looking at the type of car I want to buy. My main selling point is going to be fuel efficiency. I am looking a the Mini Cooper. Soon, I’ll start test driving.
I decided that I did not want to be a 40-year old smoker. I will be turning 41 in 2 months. I am going to re-read Allan Carr’s book and set a quit date before I turn 41.
Since I don’t really have time to re-learn French. I am letting my daughter do it for me. She is taking French in HS, so, I am just going to review her homework with her. So, we will be learning together.
I have been more diligent in my spending habits and I am only buying in cash. No more credit cards!
