Doing well with this goal! For 2011 I have read 6 books so far! Once I am finished putting everything away from this new move…I plan on getting back to reading more! It’s becoming very addicting, although, finding the time right now is hard. But I plan on keeping up at a good pace. My goal for 2011 is 25 books, I hope to meet that and also exceed that!
Well we just moved into a new apartment….The house is a disaster. Once everything gets put away and finds itself a home…I plan on keeping the place spotless! Lets see how well I do!
Well just bought a new car today! Will be picking it up this coming weekend! I plan on keeping this one in tip top shape. Just for a sense of pride! I already have rubber floor mats, that I plan on putting in ASAP, because of the snow, slush, mud this time of year. Will keep those in until we are well past mud season. I also plan on doing the touchless carwash, once a week, with a thourough vacuuming once a week as well. Will do a carpet shampoo once a month on it. Also plan on doing a full wipe down of the interior with each wash and vacuum. Also change the air fresheners once a month to keep it smelling nice….once the new car smell wears off that is! Windows will also be washed once a week to keep them sparkling.
I have learned to edit photos with my new professional grade camera. I have decided in the new year that I will attempt to have my own photography business as a side job. I have ordered some business cards and also created a business/fan page on Facebook for it. I hope to make some money and also be able to do something I love at the same time!
Well it’s been about a month or so now, and my house is clean and somewhat organized. It can be better. But it’s 1000% better than it was at one point. Dishes are done just about every night before bed. Trash is always taken out when needed, same with recyclables. Bathroom is staying tidy and even the boys room is looking better. It always smells clean and fresh in here. I hope to continue to improve through 2011
On October 10th bought a new DSLR camera, to take more professional quality photos….still need to work with it some…but love the camera…can’t wait to figure it out and see what I can create with it!
Have been doing 5 fitness classes a week for the last two weeks. It’s going well….and starting to see some small results on my body! I am happy with…I have 12 more weeks of these classes, I’m excited to see the outcome!
cleaned out my entire trunk…had to make room for all the things I need to take to the salvation army….so now I just need to do a thorough interior clean out before I can go to the car wash to clean and vacuum the entire thing…heading in the right direction.
Well today I have spent the day cleaning out closets and getting rid of things….even though I have been getting rid of tons of stuff…9 bags of stuff….it still doesn’t even look like I put a dent in it….But it’s a start and I still feel good about it!
For the last week I have been attending 5 fitness classes a week. I attend Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and two classes on Saturdays, that gives me 3 days off a week, and I work pretty hard on the 4 days I do have classes. Hope to stick with it. Ihave 13 more weeks of this and hope to whip myself into shape over the next 3 months!
Well worked on more of my unfinished baby blanket last night. I have 5 more squares left til I can piece it all together for a finished product! After that, my next project will be something easy, maybe a scarf…or something similar. I will cross that road when I get to it….My goal is to finish this baby blanket and have it ready for a Christmas gift for my baby nephew. It was supposed to be ready for his birth in July, but I never made it. But it will be done for Christmas.
I need to get out of the apartment I am in. While being affordable…it is slowly driving me insane with the awful neighbors and trash around here. I need to get into a nicer, quieter, peaceful, living environment, for my children and I.
I saw all the awesome things I could accomplish when I tried hard enough with this at one time. With couponing, and watching my electric usage and not being a lead foot when driving…Need to do it again and stick with it. I’m wasting very useful money right now, for no reason.
Reduce, Reuse, Recycle. Why buy new when I can buy used for less…and also it’s better on the environment. I can find perfectly good, usuable items at the thrift store.
Goes along with the whole clean house idea. Need to take pride in my belongings and accomplishments. That was a huge financial accomplishment for me. I need to show how proud I am of it!
I know it’s healthy for me, and much cheaper than sodas and juices. I just need to do it and stop complaining that I don’t like it. It cleans out my body and keeps it functioning at a proper level.
When getting rid of things, after my house is cleaned and organized, there shouldn’t be any reason why I can’t list and sell all our used, in good shape, items on ebay or craigslist. Even if a make a small profit, it’s better than no money at all. I can use the money towards savings or family fun fund. But in the initial cleaning and organizing of my home, I will be donating all usable items to the Salvation Army. There is too much stuff here right now to hang on to and hope that it will go.
Not in the OCD way…but just more than I am….I want to “wow” people when they enter my house…I want it super clean in all ways possible…every nook and cranny. I want everything to have a place and it to be organized. This goes along with my clean and organized house..but once it’s clean and organized I want to make sure it’s “perfect” and keep it that way…there is always something that can be done. Dusting, wiping fingerprints, something fabrezed, changing air fresheners, sorting laundry, sorting outgrown clothes, returning bottles and cans, taking out the trash and recyclables, washing windows, redecorating for the change of seasons, vacuuming, lysoling the bathroom, changing the tp roll, and the list goes on and on…my job is to make sure it’s all done with nothing left for the day, each and every day.
I have a sewing machine, that I spent my hard earned money on…and it’s just collecting dust. I would like to put it to good use. Making things both useful and fun for me and my family. There is so much to make, much cheaper and more customized at home…I just need to know how to do it.
I have taught myself the very basic stitch. I would like to master that, and learn much, much more…and like to make useful pieces doing so. Hats, scarves, mittens, sweaters, etc….I love all the many different colors and textures of yarn…would love to be able to make things for myself, instead of buying them in a store. One of a kind pieces.
