I wrote one to the person I love the most (though maybe it’s a tie? I hate ranking, but I feel like that’s the only way to quantify it) recently, and she received it the other day. The first day she had it, she told me that she loved it. The next day, she sent me a text before bedtime that said she keeps reading my “lovely letter.”
I feel all melty and happy and relieved and even more full of love.
I don’t think there’s any “one” soulmate – sure, maybe a romantic partner you spend forever with – but I honestly believe there are multiple. I’ve met two (or three) of mine so far. I recognize it when I feel it – and so far, it’s been mutual.
My advice – stop looking.
