It was super scary, but I set up my loan to autodebit my account each month, instead of taking another deferment. The next step is to find a job (yeah right) and start paying more than the minimum balance when I can.
I can do this, because we got a big tax refund and paid off our credit card, and the credit card bill was about the same size each month as the student loan now is.
I decided to put away all the goals that aren’t immediately accomplishable, and this one is pretty much ongoing, like “keep my home clean” and “save for my first house”.
SHIT. I can’t afford enough charms to make anything but the most bare-bones ugly thing. And I’m not going to jeopardize my chances at getting out of this hellhole by buying jewelry.
