OK… Bottom line is I haven’t always been a ‘good guy’ though I am a much better man these days than in my youth!! Despite the odds, I have accomplished much in my life (on paper it looks good), but in reality I have sacrificed much of who I am and more importantly, who I want to be to achieve the things I have achieved. Much of it, aimed at pleasing others,to fulfill some sense of obligation, or to repay some debt I felt I owed for deeds done past… Much of it, also falls in to a ‘self serving’ category probably directed toward finding some ‘twisted’ idea of what would be described as self-worth.
I have often ignored my own value system, dreams, and aspirations to achieve a few material things that wont matter when I’m gone.
When that day comes, I want my last thoughts to be that I have gave more than I received, that I have loved more than I have hurt, that I have earned what I leave behind, and that those who will miss me, will do so with a smile… If I can accomplish that, it will be then that I have found God and will know with confidence that Heaven is my next stop…. By the way, I am expecting that I still have plenty of time to do this but we never know so I better get started.

How I did it: I travel a lot and just keep taking pictures and trying different methods. I stay passionate about the "art" of it!! This particular picture was taken early in the morning on a cruis ship upon return from Nassau, Bahamas early in the morning with no flash. Read how I did it…
How I did it: Traded my 31 ft. Jayco Travel Trailer for it with a co-worker. I have been wanting a Harley for as long as I can remember... The opportunity came up and I couldn't pass it up. Read how I did it…
I’m not sure what is more foolish, telling this story or the fact that I actually had quit smoking for about 13 years before starting back up again… It seems the first time quitting was much easier than this time…. Jan, 1 is my ‘due date’!!
The tatoo is representative of my growing up in Vallejo, Ca…. It is a V with the Napa River waters of the Mare Island Channel (Carquinez Strait) and the Sacramento River (Delta) waters flowing through it as the sun sets above the V with the 707 lying in the sun…. I believe I’ll get it touched up soon to make it a bit ‘bolder’ (I’m not to crazy about the shade of blue either)... still, not regrets though!!!
