If you are having trouble not eating, you are not anorexic. If you go on a proper diet, you will not be hungry, and you will lose weight.
If you want to be anorexic, you are totally ignorant on the subject. It’s not attractive, it ruins lives and it kills.
There are LOTS AND LOTS of inoffensive weight loss groups on here. Go, join. Please.

One of the things that many people on this site have said to us, is; “We don’t care what you say, it only makes us more determined.”
We are not your parents or teachers. Defying us does not make us concerned for your welfare or your mental health.
Starve, diet, binge, purge, do whatever you want… (remembering that most of you are actually crash dieting and will probably, as starvelous has pointed out, end up fatter)
But:
1) Talk about it somewhere else, so that you,
2) Don’t associate it with real eating disorders!
People like the ones here who chose to proudly and loudly spout crap all over this site are the ones that contribute to the very common misconceptions about anorexia, mainly that it is a chosen path that can be cured merely by eating. These are the misconceptions that mean that genuine anorexics are openly insulted for a very serious illness, that mean even medical professionals don’t always take them seriously. They are part of the network that means rehab concentrates first on fattening them up, which is the equivelent of making a human being a foie gras goose! If you had ANY SENSITIVITY TO YOUR FELLOW HUMAN BEINGS, YOU WOULD NOT BE HERE. And don’t start whining that starvelous et al have not shown you sufficient sensitivity; we are taking the time to be here and have all tried to rationally explain why you should not be. It’s only when we have been consistently shown a total lack of understanding that we have become rude.

IF you get thin,
There will be no huge, imagined reward at the end, unless you are already seriously overweight.
YOU MIGHT BE ABLE TO WEAR DIFFERENT CLOTHES, but you will be the same person.
You will feel exactly the same.
None of your problems will have been solved.
YOU WILL NOT BE “PERFECT”, ANY MORE THAN YOU ARE PERFECT NOW.
