I am adopting 3 families for Christmas. I’m going to buy gifts for the whole family and a holiday dinner. No one will know it was me.

I Will Do This Starting NOW! 14 months ago

At 330am on Thursday our very dear friend Scott Chestnut died. We’d spent a couple of days by his bedside, hoping and praying for a change in his condition. Scott lost his battle with alcoholism. He died of liver and kidney failure.

We told him we loved him before we left him on Wednesday. He should have known how we felt before that day.

On Monday the 22nd of September 16 months ago

...my life changed. I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes.

I am now on medicine to help lower my blood sugar and I have to monitor my blood sugar 6 times a day. I have to go on a low to no carb diet. I have already lost 4 pounds since Monday just by giving up regular soda pop. I have lowered my numbers by almost 50 points. This is a start… I will keep going until I don’t need to take meds anymore. I know that I can do this…
