I really want to do this!

But I’ve got to get my BSc before I go to medical school—and then I have to study like two years in general medical practice before I can specialize in neurology, right? :( Boo. That’s like 5 years down the road, then. I’d better work hard.

I got my ears pierced yesterday!

I got it done at Peoples. It seemed like one of the ladies that was doing it for me was inexperienced—when she was marking my ears with the pen, she put the dot a bit low and said “OOPS” really loudly. It was kind of scary. I was like, “WHAT? ‘OOPS’?!” Then she couldn’t figure out how to release the gun after they put it in my ear. XD She said “OOPS” again and the other woman that did my ear helped her out.

It didn’t hurt. :3 It was very loud, though. My ears felt heavy and they were very warm for about an hour after I got them, but other than that…it was pretty easy.

I can’t wait until they heal up and I can start wearing cute dangly earrings.

Ahh. Seems like it was just a rumour after all. My birthday was last friday and I didn’t get a laptop. =p Infact the best present that I got from anyone was a slice of cake from a friend, for lunch…oh well. There’s always next year.
