I’ve read the Tao Te Ching many times. I feel that when I am stressed, reading the Tao Te Ching helps calm me down and allows for clearer thoughts. By reading and re-reading and memorizing, I often find myself deterred from making unfortunate mistakes. Now, if only I can find a way to substitute my self-destructive habits with this… maybe I can find my “darkness within darkness.”

I have to get into Reed and I’ve been studying so hard except for last night when I watched Skulls II. It was okay but I should have been studying for Physics. I honestly think I failed the exam today and I needed to get a C to not get a D on my report card. Tomorrow’s English (so f-ing easy) and Friday’s French and Latin. It’ll go well because my horoscope said so. And the horoscope is always right.
