This single question captures everything that’s holding anyone back. It is all about fear. It is so simple but so scary. And here I am putting it into the low self-esteem box here, and the lack of confidence box there when ultimatley, it is all about having the bravery to put yourself out there no matter what the results may be. THAT is how you build conifdence. THAT is how you live a full life. I am excited already about testing this out! Thank you for the great question…talk about food for thought :-)

How I did it: I was a person who loved sport at school but ws suddenly ten years out of school and hadn't exercised in as many years. I mean, I got out of breath climbing the stairs. So enough was enough, I just thought I would give it a go and all of a sudden I found myself, actually ...gasp, enjoying the exercise. The great thing is that as it is such a gentle program, you sneakily trick your body into achieivng things you never thought possible.&nbs… Read how I did it…
How I did it: I just followed the Paul McKenna rules: 1. Eat when you are hungry. 2. Eat what you want, not what you think you should have. 3. Eat slowly and consciously to really enjoy every mouthfull 4. When you are full, stop. Read how I did it…
I have just started doing the Paul McKenna “I Can Make You Thin” philospohy and can I just say, it is amazing! The rules are:
1. Eat when you are hungry.
2. Eat what you want, not what you think you should be eating.
3. Eat consciously and slowly to really enjoy every mouthful.
4. When you are full, stop eating
While I am not overweight I just had really naughty eating habits e.g. could easily eat a plate of food when I wan’t hungry, just becasue it was THERE. Now I am actually listening to my hunger signals and therefore eating half the amount I used to. It is truly amazing and I can’t believe it was just a matter of slowing down my eating. Hurrah!
I continually apologise for things I aren’t even responsible for and for things which don’t require apologies. Essentially, I have been raised as a total people pleaser. The one thing which is helping me turn this around is asking myself the question:
“Am I still a perfectly likeable human being even when I don’t fit in with other people’s expectations?”
The answer is YES!
