i stumbled upon a new philosophy a few days ago, after thinking back to a conversation with an old friend. i never seem able to define who i am because it feels as though there are so many different aspects to myself; but, isn’t that in itself a definition? the self isn’t about individual facets of a personality, or attitudes or beliefs or whatever- the self is all of these facets together, making a whole. i am everything that there is about myself, not just what i am- or, rather, am not- a majority of the time.
a fantastic kind of drunkness which escapes description for the timebeing. it wasn’t like being drunk at all, even though this stuff was 45%. we all felt completely under control, incredibly chilled, slightly surreal and generally very happy. good stuff.
