How I did it: i was never really a heavy soda drinker anyway. i basically decided one day i wasnt going to drink it anymore. it was as simple as that for me. i wont lie i do get tempted a lot since the vending machines at my work are completely free, but so are the water bottles so it works out. its been over a year and half since i had a soda and i dont miss it all. ive always preferred my teas anyway. How I did it: Well i got a good job and didnt have much debt at the time. I immediately paid off any debt i had and began researching cars. I figured out a specific group of vehicles and price ranges i was looking at. however i knew at the time i didnt have the cash for these and i really didnt want to finance a car 100%. So i saved $1000 dollars a month for 11 months. At this point i couldnt wait any longer so i found a good car and worked out a deal.… Read how I did it…
well my job isnt terrible. many would kill for it im sure (especially with current times) however im not going anywhere here and really have no desire to. my goal is to:
-Pay off all debt by December 2009
-Start & actually complete spring 2010 & Fall 2010 semesters of school
-Save $10k+ by the end of 2010
-Leave job and go/move to Europe for awhile
-Go from there….
Since my family couldnt afford it ive had to wait until i got a good job to start my dental work. So far (last year and half) ive had a couple crowns put on, a few chipped teeth fixed, all 4 wisdom teeth removed, braces put on and had an impacted tooth surgically exposed and bracketed (to hopefully be slowly moved into its correct position). i still have a few more months left to find out if the impacted tooth being brought down is going to work (i pray it does), as well i still have another 2 years of braces left…lots of $$$$$ thus far even with insurance. i wish this could have been taken care of when i was younger but i understand.
