It’s been a month since I started looking and still nothing. I’ve applied at tons of places and haven’t so much as gotten a call yet, but I’m not giving up (I can’t, lol). I finally have my resume completed as I want it and I’m looking into online recruitment sites. Hopefully by this time next month I can say that I’ve completed this goal. I’m starting to get desperate.
I want to actually quit drinking it altogether, but I think I’ll start with cutting back. I enjoy drinking it far too much with things like pizza to give it up completely, I think. I didn’t buy any at the grocery store this week and I’v ebeen drinking a lot more water which is helping.
I write a lot on a Harry Potter role playing site which I feel is helping me develop my writing style. Still thinking of a good idea for a book… but in the meantime, I’m enjoying coming up with and writing for characters for this other site. I think any kind of writing will help me in the long run.
I know I have a few months until this comes around in November. My goal for now is to come up with an idea for a decent novel before then.
I’ve been working on these scrapbooks since 1999. I used to really enjoy the creative aspect of it, now it feels almost like a chore – one more thing that needs to be done. Pages used to take me forever because they had to be cutting-edge and perfect. I haven’t done any scrapbooking in 2 years and all my supplies and pictures are piling up. I’d like to do more simplistic pages and just get them finished.
Started putting drywall in… This will be slow going as there is a lot of work to be done and funds are extremely limited/non-existent.
Okay, I know winning the lottery doesn’t solve all of life’s problems, but it makes them easier, right? ;) I never expect to win a million dollar jackpot, but those instant win games are fun and I’ve won a few bucks off of them sometimes. I’ll continue to play just for fun, and maybe some of the bigger jackpot ones too, and who knows? Maybe one day I’ll win big.
Slowly working towards this goal… one room at a time. Kids’ playroom nearly finished, office and studio next. Having a yard sale to get rid of some things, tossing the rest.
I’ve set myself a goal of having one 2 weeks from today. I’ve cleaned out the kids playroom and have a bunch of toys that they’ve outgrown… now to move on to decluttering the rest of the house and collect more unwanted stuff for the sale. Then anything that doesn’t sell I will take down to my parents’ house for their community sale in August. Anything left from that will be donated as it is not coming back into my house!
I’ve been a stay-at-home mom for a decade, but I suppose it’s time for me to get a job. My husband’s measley one income isn’t cutting it as shown by the massive debt we’ve accumulated, not to mention I’d like to actually get out of the house once in a while. I’d love to find something related to my degree, but at this point I’d take pretty much anything.
I went to school to study art, but life has gotten in the way of my creativeness. I want to make time for painting.
I’ve been doing really well following my exercise plan and want to get my belly button pierced as a reward for finally getting back a flat stomach. That hasn’t happened quite yet, but I’m well on my way.
We have astronomical consumer debt and I’m tired of living this life owing so much money to credit cards and not being able to afford anything because of having to put all our money towards bills. Of course it’s difficult when I feel that my husband makes no effort to achieve this goal and he has just accepted that debt is a fact of life. I don’t know how much longer I can live like this when he won’t stop charging and all my frugal efforts are for nothing.
I know that I’m an adult and I feel like I should have accepted what I look like by now, but I’ve always hated my too-big nose and my flat chest. If I want to get a nose job and bigger boobs, why shouldn’t I? I think it would drastically improve my appearance. It’s just the money that’s stopping me… for now.
