It's not as daunting as it is... 3 months ago

I’ve had some trouble opening myself up to people I’m not friends with (accquaintances with)... but it’s not that daunting… as long as you talk to people who aren’t the overly negative, antisocial type, they’ll be happy to talk.

I’ve started off small… ...ask people questions, try not to focus on yourself (although if the conversation goes to you, stay brief and then go back to a question)... even just having polite pleasantries so far with people is really self-affirming. So take baby steps and… yeah…

...these videos helped:

stop my internet addiction (read all 2 entries…)
I've Got A Plan 5 months ago

This is my new plan, and it’s worked for one day so far.

Here it is: (I have a laptop) physically remove your computer and put it away. It’s my newest goal during the week to not use my computer until say, past 9 o’ clock when I’ve at least done some work.

I guess if you have a desktop computer, take out one of the key plugs and physically disconnect it (make sure you know how to put it back :P) and then place it in a drawer.

I guess ‘reaching this goal’ for me is cutting internet/computer use to less than thirty minutes a day. For now. If that works then we could see a big improvement in my studies and my creative pursuits instead of hours in front of the internet.

Sleep more
Untitled 5 months ago

I think lack of sleep is the root of all the problems in my life at the moment. :/

Problems of the internal strife kind.
