Easy—so incredibly easy. You have no excuse to not be trying—Chinese is really not hard at all—just make sure you get some tapes or something so you can hear the tones in pronunciation and you’re golden.

Japanese will present a lot of problems to learners. It’s isolation over the past 400 years has caused a lot of weird idiosyncracies within, which insure that the Japanese language is a little odd and very vague; however, it is learnable. I know about 2000 kanji and am ready to pass the 1kyuu on the JLPT. Don’t worry too much about Kanji, Kanji can be easy. The general set phrases that Japanese uses coupled with the onomatopoeia make it difficult.

It’s pretty easy- all you have to do is get over the fear barrier—look forward, jump straight up, throwing your hands with your body, keep looking forward, then tuck hard by pulling your knees to your chest and grabbing behind your knees (or your knees themselves), hold, and release.
