we should start some kind of action like: no one pay a ticket for no seat belts until they are standard issue in school buses! Everyone in my family ALWAYS wears one. I know my idea wouldn’t work but doesn’t it seem wrong that they can issue you a ticket for not wearing one when millions of kids are loaded up every day into buses and transported all over the place without one thought of their safety!

How I did it: We built raised beds to help with the weeds. I wouldn't garden without them now. We checked with the local farmers as to what would grow and what wouldn't. We polled the family as to what they wanted to grow and went to town to get the seeds. I learned how to harvest everything better and am fully stocked on canned and frozen goods now and am looking forward to eating them this winter.I love the sage tea I drink th… Read how I did it…
How I did it: I typed it all up in MS Word, inserted the pics, emailed it to myself and printed them up at the folks house. cleaned out the beds. We still have some peppers coming and some squash. I don’t think they will mature before the cold snaps. It has been a great garden for us. It helped heal my heart and soul and fed our bellies well. I learned how to can and look forward to all the goodies we will enjoy this winter. All that is left is to get the manure in the beds for next spring and someone will have a great garden next spring. I will never forget this experience.
