I’ve wanted to do this ever since I met an eskimo in 1981. I met her in Washington National Airport (aka Reagan Intl) and she had never been out of Alaska and was dressed in her entire “Eskimo” native wear on a very cold D.C. winter day. She had this AMAZING coat, hat, big high fur boots. She was so adorable. She was moving permanently to D.C. and I’ve often wondered if she stayed!

How I did it: Well, it was a gift from a boss who couldn't go! A trip of a lifetime! My boyfriend and I were stunned we got to go. We stayed in a beautiful resort but we went a day early and stayed in a shoebox motel and frankly, it doesn't matter WHERE you stay because if you stay inside in Maui you are missing out! Go to Hana.
