Queens is nice. It’s been my home for, in my humble opinion, far too long. I need some change. What better place for change than Brooklyn? I’ve already done the Manhattan thing, and while fun, it wears you down. Brooklyn seems like just the right amount of umph for my type of person. The only obstacle I really see to this is compromising with my husband.
Pros:
- it’s closer to my school
- it’s Brooklyn
- it’s got an IKEA
Cons:
- it’s further from my job
- my husband says no
Marital compromising is way too hard to achieve when it’s something you REALLY want and you’re married to a steel wall.

I currently owe something on every card. This is disappointing. I remember being euphoric at possibly having it all gone, and then…something happened and it’s crapped all over my cards. Unsightly, really.
My goal for the month of February is to drastically pay down one card, and the minimums on all the others. The other approach never really worked for me before, so I might as well try to snowball this into oblivion.

I totally stopped reading Grania, but I picked up “Pride and Prejudice and Zombies.”
So. awesome. What’s better than Jane Austen AND some serious Zombie-killing? It’s very tongue-in-cheek, and mostly original with the author adding phrases here and there about killing zombies. Most of the characters I despised in the original P&P certainly get theirs (Charlotte Lucas, Mr. Collins, Lydia, Wickham).
I’m currently in the middle of four books, one being the original P&P, but I plan on continuing the Sookie series soon. Hopefully that keeps my interest! Otherwise – back to HP!
