Through many years of yoga, I’ve naturally started sitting up straighter. I think that it’s because I’ve got a stronger core now. And having a good supportive chair helps too!

How I did it: I'm currently finishing up a 2 year YA500 yoga teaching course, and a really great outcome of that is acceptance and the ability to control my anger. This is especially true in terms of road rage! I used to get really angry at people driving recklessly, and while it still concerns me that this shows a total lack of regard for human life, it means that I don't waste unnecessary time and energy on being angry. Just let it go. Read how I did it…
How I did it: I don't know how it took me so long, but it was definitely worth it, although I have now moved into an itty bitty apartment, and all my materials are at my parent's place. Oh well. It just means I get to spend more time at their place!!I went out and bought a canvas. That was really all I needed, because I already had all the other stuff - paints, brushes, turps, palette knife, etc. You just need to make an effort to start - its the start… Read how I did it…
How I did it: Basically, it was impossible until I moved in with my fiance (which happened last weekend!), since he lives 30 minutes drive from me, and we're both crazy busy people. It took so long because we wanted to buy a place together before we moved in together! Read how I did it…

But it took a while before I could do that. I think the main thing that I had to learn before improvising is that you need to know how to balance the 4 S’s – sweet, salty, sour and spicy. The other important thing was that you need to learn what ingredients taste good with each other. This is different for everyone, so you just have to try different things (be BOLD!!) and see what suits you, as well as your family and friends.
I’ve been cooking 3-4 nights every week for half a year and I’ve come a LONG way! There were a few disasters at the beginning, mainly to do with a) too much salt or b) weird flavours mixed together…
I only went to Barcelona, so I would love to go around the rest of the country. The food was amazing, the people lovely, and the architecture unbelievable! I loved Mercat de la Boqueria the most, as well as some of the museums and a couple of the small breakfast cafes – wonderful!
