Baking a Cake

I love baking in general, quick breads, cupcakes, pies, cookies, etc, but I usually don’t have much luck when it comes to a simple cake. It either falls apart or just looks messy overall. I’d like to one day make a three tier cake though, I think it would be a challange and a lot of fun!
