“It was good, I volunteered at a convalescent home and I got to go to San Diego. Oh, by the way, I’m a lesbian.”
”...”

Quite obviously, I’m still working on the approach. I’m also still deciding if I want to tell anyone other than my family and Internet strangers while I’m still in high school or if I want to wait until I go off to college.
