Wow
Picked up People of the Book, which I’d put a hold on. Such control, as I’d seen it at King’s English on Friday.
Why, oh why, are people practicing their baking skills and bringing the stuff to work?
Especially lemon bars!
Am leaving for day soon and have resisted all day. Huzzah for me.
Once I’ve used up all the paper towels in my supply, I’ll call this one done.
I can see it easily, don’t have to go searching through bookmark folders.
And no, E, a planned snack is not where I say, “I think I’ll go pick up a bagel in an hour.”
I joined (re-joined) SparkPeople so I can do food diary there. I wish I could remember my old password, when they send the password it goes to an old employer. So, I don’t get my SparkPoints or my username or my custom foods. Anyway … I just go forward from here.
Chanted and sat with the sangha this morning. Rich was Sensei. There was no daisan … odd. I left after the first period, had to get to work. Ran into Kay as I was leaving.
Tricycle (quarterly)
Shambhala Sun (bi-monthly)
Real Simple (monthly)
Body+Soul (monthly)
This is my list. Now to just follow it.
Went to library on Sunday and discovered that they have Health magazine. So, there’s one more off my list. I’ll periodically (haha) check that out at the library.
Signed up for retreat in Torrey in early June. Will I survive a week a sitting in the heat?
Get the push mower sharpened. The tiny amount of lawn still there makes the power mower ridiculous.
Passed by Vegetarian Times yesterday.
I’ve stopped reading Living, O, Natural Health, Cooking Light, Hallmark (these were easy to give up).
There’s a lot of junky stuff out there: fashion and gossip magazines.
Am letting subscription to PC World and More expire.
If Health has any more articles that talk about what some celebrity has done, I will write to them and let them know how disgusting I find this. I should stop buying it before that happens.
What is hard is Real Simple, Shambhala Sun. These I may not be able to quit.
Use up what you have, then stop. Move rag bag into pantry, so there are cloths to clean with.
