I share an apartment in the city and since we have no common living room, my room is sort of it in terms of my space – all purpose living and bedroom and part-time home office. Somehow, there is always clutter. I need organization that I can stick with, and a way to remind myself daily what my goals are. I’m thinking I can use my bulletin board to post important lists that I make and eventually invest in a second tall bookshelf that I can put all the stuff from my two shorter bookshelves on, and then just give those away. I also need a chest or small cabinet that’s easier to organize for towels, sheets, and sweaters. The space needs to look better too.

How I did it: I really lucked out and got a free bike when my father upgraded. Eventually, I'd like to get something more suitable for heavy riding and workouts, but this old road bike is good for getting around quickly. Read how I did it…
I exercise a lot and eat very healthy, but there is way too much beer and wine going down the hatch on top of that big seasonal salad and those quinoa wraps. Ideally, I’d like to drink no more than 4 drinks a week and quit completely from Sunday-Thursday, with exceptions for occasional get-togethers with family or friends. Downing a bottle of wine while sitting in front of the computer is no longer an acceptable evening activity.
I see this happening in about 5 years. I haven’t even run my first full marathon yet, so right now I’m learning to survive and even love longer and longer runs. Once I’ve got that down I can think about speed.
