This is a daily battle. I have moments when I cannot specifically remember the last ritual I completed. That is usually brought on because I find myself in the middle of a ritual. I try to keep my stress under control. When I am overwhelmed, it takes over. I am taking it one day at a time. I have improved. I can fight it better than I used to. I am positive that it is tied to stress management.
I have definitely been doing this my entire life. I have an inability to say no. I say yes when it conflicts with my schedule. I say yes when it’s a disservice to myself. I say yes continuously. I say yes when the action does not make me feel good. I say yes and regret it later. I think it is time to start thinking about myself. I am doing things for people that they probably would not do for me. While I can continue to be a humanitarian, I should start taking care of myself. I help others progress in their lives while I am stunting my own growth. No more.
