smile at everyone who meets my eye
Untitled 2 years ago

So, I made eye contact with an older gentleman at the mall a few days ago.

I gave a polite(small)smile.

He just stared at me.

And though I know I’ll probably never see him again, or anyone else that this happens with, the thought of a repeat really unnerves me.

get a sidekick III
I liked the II better... 2 years ago

I didn’t have my II for a year, before these came out. Of course, I wanted one. So for my birthday, in November, I got it.

At first, I was thrilled. About two hours later, I was bored.

The MP3 player was an amazing addition-as was the new choose your own background feature. However, my iPod sort of made the former obsolete, and the latter only had four options.

I loved the built-in yahoo and msn messengers, but really, they weren’t all that amazing. I’d expected the aim at least to be updated or changed a bit somehow, but, no.

Honestly, probably the coolest thing about this phone, in retrospect, was the new scroll button, as opposed to the scroll wheel of the II-which eventually became prone to getting stuck which was so annoying when trying to play Tetris. But I digress.

I ended up experimenting with this phone for about a week, before deciding to go back and get an MDA instead(squee!).

But that’s just me-I know other people that had the II and hate the III, but it seems like people that haven’t had a sidekick period LOVE the III.

have a penpal
Help? 2 years ago

I love penpals-I get this crazy rush from mail and socializing, so why not kill two birds with one stone? I have a few right now-but I found them all through various classes/projects for school, or friends.

So; does anyone know a good place to start? I’ve tried google, but I never really like the look/vibe of the results, if that makes any sense.
