It was surprisingly easy to do. I just told myself that I would stop straight away and I did. As much as it is nice to be able to have your nails all pretty, however, I underestimated how annoying it would be. It’s like having claws! Tasks that used to be menial and everyday are awkward! Opening a can, anyone?
I admit, I still nibble at the edges every now and then… but I can’t see myself going back to the way I was.

People don’t always appreciate the picture-taking and sometimes you’re going to get odd looks for photographing certain things, but it’s completely worth it when you’re able to share them with people later. Pictures preserve memories :)

After putting it off for years and trying every over-the-counter remedy I could find, including benzoyl peroxide, salicylic acid and herbal treatments, I FINALLY went to my doctor about my acne.
I’ve been prescribed Oxytetracycline. I’ve been told to stay on it for three months, but they only gave me a one-month supply so that they can check up on the progress and possibly prescribe me a cream in addition if they think it’s necessary.
Just took the first pill. Hopefully this is progress at last!
