How I did it: n early April, my mom's friend, Tina E, who used to live in our area added mom to her facebook. So, Mom spent some time looking around her facebook page catching up with her, then traveled over to her myspace and then to her sons' myspaces. As she read Tina's son Josh's myspace her jaw totally dropped and kept dropping lower and lower. "He has so much in common with Christa Joy!", she kept thinking. Lots and lots of things...from the … Read how I did it…
Okay, so I was getting ready to be a counselor at a summer camp. I had no other job. Sooooo I decided to streak my hair purple. Well the box of dye, that supposedly required no extra bleaching, was supposed to cause dark brown hair to become fuschia purple. Uh uh. It came out this pink red color. And I loved it! It wasn’t all over, just huge chunks of pink/red in brown curly hair. It was fun and perfect for summer. Now that I’ve re-done it over with brown, some people have come up to express their appreciation for returning to the land of normal color. But more were a little sad to see it go. So go for it. I just wouldn’t suggest it before any big job appointments or whatnot.
Oh and PS, like the picture shows, I had a twin! I was totally stoked to get to camp and see Tay cause I knew she would love my hair. Turns out, we bought the dye, the same night, at the same place, saw each other there and still managed to have no idea we were dying our hair the same color! It was an amazing surprise!
I want to open a music house. There’s nothing to do in town I grew up in after 9 PM. Literally. And what there is to do before that really isn’t all that great. I’m a believer in Jesus Christ. I want a place for youth to feel safe. A place for them to relax and study. A place free of the meth problem we have. A place to come if you need help. A place for believers to grow together. For musicians, and there are a lot of them, to come to learn, play and enjoy music. A place to buy new, less known artists.
This is my passion.
