How I did it: I started with an internship and, from there, moved into an admin role, despite having worked in a much higher level capacity in the private sector. Once in the admin role, I was in a position to start exploring the areas of work that I was interested in and offered my time to people in those teams. Got takeaway… must say, wasn’t my favorite. The samosa were quite good, but the vegetable dhahi tasted as though tinned spaghetti sauce had gone in at some point. Alas!
