It took me a year and a half to write my thesis (almost 200 pages), but the best advice I can give you is to get it done all at once. While it may drive you to the brink of insanity, if you take a break, you will almost surely never get back on track. Also, set aside some time each day (maybe 5 days a week) to work on it setting either a time-based goal or a pages-oriented goal (i.e., I will work for three hours. Or I will write 5 pages.) that way you’re not bogged down by guilt every moment of the day for not working on it as the bus stop, during half time, or on the weekends.

Pets, especially cats, bring your life peace. You have someone who will love you unconditionally, ask you to care for it, someone who will be thrilled when you come home, and who will love you in return. I recommend adopting from a local shelter, as pet stores often support animal farms (not good).
