How I did it: Work travel. I've been across Canada now and flown over ten times in the last year for work related meetings. (free! yay!)It's not so scary after all, though landing still make me cringe... "trees, trees, buildings, trees, omg that is a close house, trees... where's the runway?! ohhhhkay, we're good." How I did it: So, I bought a house. I lovely three bedroom bungalow. Got a great deal on it since it needs a new roof, new furnace, new windows... basically it needs updating. Which is just fine for a DIY'er like myself. The market is for buying now folks, with a great rate at 4.1%, it's doable.I am so pleased and happy to have this investment in myself. :) Read how I did it…
I’ve been attending yoga classes twice a week for the last two months… and I’m proud to say I can
-easily bend over and touch the floor with both hands flat
-do the splits(who knew I could still do this?!)
-bend in many freaky, absurd ways
I’m going to count this as done… since moving into a new cubicle where I am not crunched into a corner I have been doing much better!
I also have continued practicing yoga classes twice a week which has greatly improved my posture and muscle tone.
Good luck to all!!
