find my own unique interests
Untitled 2 years ago

i have a really strong tendency to kind of just enjoy whatever everyone around me enjoys without finding anything on my own to love in my own way. i’ll go to shows to see bands that my friends like, or just listen to whatever music my fiance buys. i’ll read books that other people suggest… i suppose this gois hand in hand with letting go of my fear of change. i need to step out of my social box and find my own way. i love my friends and i love a lot of the same things, but i need to not be afraid to go my own way.

pay off credit cards
best goal ever! 2 years ago

this is most likely the hardest thing i’ve had to do. but when it was all over it was really satisfying. it’s a really difficult place to be when you’ve got three cards in collections at the same time and they call and call and call and you never answer your phone and you can’t sleep very well knowing that the only thing that can make it better is if you would just answer the phone and get it over with.

it really is that simple. all i had to do was answer the phone, well, and take out a massive loan from my parents, but that’s never going to collections. it’s over. and i’ll never have to deal with it again.
