How I did it: The main obstacles to getting a job, for me, are usually procrastination and lack of motivation. consolidate my email

I want to stop using my old Gmail address and switch over entirely to using my own domain.

Problem: I want all my old emails conveniently archived with my new email, without having the dates all messed up by forwarding them.

Solution: sync with my desktop using IMAP, then sync the other way.

Problem: Thunderbird completely freaked out when I tried to do this.

Solution (I hope): currently using Mail.app, one little bit at a time.
