I’ve changed the link for the Inspire With Hope feed.
It was http://feeds.feedburner.com/AllThingsBright
It’s now:
http://feeds.feedburner.com/InspireWithHope
So, if you were subscribed, please update. If you weren’t, why not do that now? :)
I’ve updated things so that the old link points to here.
I’m terrified of losing my 51 subscribers, but I figure it’s better to change things sooner rather than later.
I’m really sorry for the inconvenience: I renamed Inspire With Hope a year or two ago & this is, I think, the last of the legacy bits.

“Hi! It’s been a while, but here I am!
I’m really not sure what to write, all I know is that I’m not willing to let go of Inspire With Hope yet.”
So, yes, it’s back. :)

So, after being really busy with uni, I was then ridiculously busy with full-time employment. I still am, but Inspire With Hope is important to me, so I’m working on how I’m going to continue with it.
Watch this space…

$1 000 000?
I don’t need that much, to be honest.
I want to be independently wealthy, but I don’t need to be ridiculously rich.
But then, why am I having resistance to having lots of money? Why limit myself? If I have “too much” I can always give it away!
I think I’m having negative thoughts about money.
Hmm.

PS I don’t think money is the hardest thing to manifest. I don’t know what is. Actually, I think whatever you believe is hardest is hardest for you!

...but it’s definitely worth doing this.
At first you might find it hard, but I realised that there are lots of small things that make me happy as well as big things.

I want to try lots of different kinds of meditation & then regularly do the ones that work best for me.
I’m currently part of a meditative group called Positively Joyous.

I’m really busy with uni at the moment, so unfotunately I’m not updating. However, all the archives are still up and once uni calms down I’ll be back.

I read about Kimpton Hotels today, via Have You Stayed at a Kimpton Hotel? I’ve heard nothing but rave reviews and the Kimpton website even has a Women’s Section
I’m really impressed with the reviews especially, viral marketing at its finest. Just goes to prove that if you really do care your customers will notice.
Plus, here are some inspirational words from Melissa, their Executive Chef:
“Constantly set goals for yourself—short term and long term and continuously check back on them to monitor your progress and maybe reevaluate your position. Pursue a career that you are sincerely passionate about and research others that have been successful in those careers.”

And thank you for mentors to carry us through when inspiration is lacking.
And thank you for my own self-motivation when mentors aren’t around.
And thank you anyway for the potential for all these, even when they’re not actualised at a particular moment in time.

Isn’t it great when you wake up with a smile and and spring in your step?
Today the alarm frightened me when I woke!
Off to bed now, with a smile on my face and a glow in my heart.

Steve Pavlina distinguishes between two different kinds of gratitude. In essence, more effective and more permanent gratitude is of this kind, e.g. thank you for being alive.
http://www.stevepavlina.com/blog/2007/01/gratitude/
I’ve got a mix of different types of gratitude here, in the future I’ll try focusing on the ‘Level 2’ type and see what that’s like. In the past I’ve written about ‘Level 1’ types because being more tangible they’re easier to identify.
Actually, I’m not sure that the things I’ve been thankful for are that temporary, e.g. even if mince pies disappeared forever I would still be appreciative of the fact that I’ve had them in the past.
I suppose the real take-home-value of Steve’s post is that it’s the spirit in which you offer gratitude that counts. It’s definitely easier to be more in tune with a more life-affirming spirit if you’re grateful for living than e.g. for being warm.
On the other hand, I’m freezing at the moment but that’s okay, I’m grateful not only to be alive, but to be able to feel (isn’t touch amazing?!) and to be safe and inside.
Hmm, will have to muse on this some more.

I haven’t said thank you in a little while, but I have been revelling in how lucky I am. It’s pretty amazing that I have so much, that I can do so much. I’ve been up to a lot lately and it’s cool to achieve so many things.
Hooray!

Isn’t it brilliant when, having put off eating because you’re a geek who’s so addicted to the Web that getting up just dooesn’t feel worth it but then you’re desperately hungry because you’ve not eaten a proper meal all day because you couldn’t think of what to have, you finally potter off to the kitchen because you remember you have some mince pies left, as well as some frsh orange juice with bits?
Yes!

PS Mmm, yummy.

Smile!

PS They talked about people’s mental ages. I think I’m 19.
