0. Juno – Dec 25, 2007, so technically doesn’t count. Loved it. Went with Sophie on Christmas and left the movie thinking she was pregnant – it didn’t help that she was walking funny in her heels. Loved Ellen Page, loved the soundtrack.
1. Sweeney Todd – Jan 2, 2007. Loved this one too (aren’t I cheery today). I thought it was phenomenal and hilarious. I don’t understand the apprehension surrounding the gore – I have the weakest stomach you’ll find but I couldn’t help but laugh as blood sprayed everywhere while Johnny Depp sang, brandishing his razor. I left with an increased love of all parties involved in the making of this film, particularly Stephen Sondheim.
1.5 Started watching Zorro with Noé etc. I may try to see the rest later on (this is a reminder!).
