just got to beijing where i am working on a project so my chinese should be getting better.
i am going to study several times a week.
i’m still in portland and wanted to express the wellspring of joy i am experiencing. i spent the whole day at powells and i am going back tomorrow. it is a truly great browsing experience – met and possibly exceeded my expectations. very well organized and laid out. lots of good recommendations, too. i have a list that i am cross-referencing before i purchase stuff. also the people in this city are extremely friendly. i would love to come back every year.
